What is Twisdom?

Think of Twisdom as an existential help line! Ask a question, answer a question, do both — it's that simple.

Q:
A:

How do I play?

Got a #question? Twisdom is all around you — all you have to do is ask. Tweet your question and tag it #twisdom #question. Before long, you'll receive an answer.

Got an #answer? Search for tweets tagged #twisdom #question and see what people are asking, then reply to them and tag your reply #twisdom #answer. Be creative! Your answer can be anything from a fact, to a quote, to an image that will help that person find the answer themselves.

In your #question or #answer, feel free to hashtag potential keywords. For example, are you facing a #challenge, in the midst of #change, or seeking #happiness? Let us know!

But what should I ask?

Anything you like, from little details to big universal mysteries! Although we all feel lost when we're searching for something, someone out there has faced a similar dilemma before you and can help you figure it out.

Q:
A:

Someone sent me a picture in reply to my question. Huh?

Replies can be text, or pictures, or both! Images can help you see answers for yourself — sometimes Twisdom lies within!

Q:

But I don't have all the answers! How am I supposed to respond to people?

You might not be able to solve every problem, but you can offer a unique perspective!

What's the big idea?

Our lives touch the lives of others through the questions and challenges we face, or the solutions, solidarity or solace we give in response. Each time we interact with one another, we create the bonds that form our larger community.

Who are you crazy people?

Twisdom was created by astronomer/artist Lucianne Walkowicz, artist/designer David Gurman and code jockey Sundev Lohr of Brainvise. David and Lucianne are both TED Fellows, but live on opposite coasts, work in totally different fields, and had never met prior to creating Twisdom.
